What Can I Do?
To help make a difference and ensure that we, the public, have the right to use the programming guide information of FTA TV stations in whatever form we wish, please do the following few simple things;
1. Create a suitable letter from the proformas available here which will ensure that your submission stays directly on the message.
2. Send your letter via email or post to the people and organisations below in this order (full list of addresses available here):
a. Australian Media and Communications Authority
b. The federal Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy
c. The Prime Minister
d. Your local federal member
e. FreeTV Australia
3. Sign the online petition here. Please be sure to activate the link in the email you’ll receive after signing the petition. This verifies your email address which in turn validates your signature.
4. Send an email to your friends alerting them to this problem and pointing them here so that they can decide if they are able to help.
